Daisy

Yesterday I ventured out to my parents vacant block to photograph a lovely girl named Daisy. As early as I made it, yesterdays heat wasn't the most enjoyable thing in the world- especially when you're out in an open field. So props to Daisy for still making it out for me. I tried to finish the shoot as quickly as possible without rushing, but I still came out with some lovely shots... 

I tried some light leaks on some of them and it came out quite nice... it's surprisingly easy to achieve that effect!

Ronin Tattooing- Promotional portraits

As much as I try to be precise about what I and the client expect from a photoshoot, sometimes things will surprise you. Yesterday I took a couple more promotional snaps for Ronin Tattooing in Cottesloe, these ones of the lovely Tahlee. The whole shoot we were drooling over the smells of the african and chinese restaurants nearby. I've photographed her three times now, and she's easily the most comfortable person I've ever photographed. There were quite a number of photos I liked from the shoot, but I was really enjoying these ones here with the warm tones. Max, my assistant, couldn't help but compliment Tahlee on her beautiful bright eyes.

Blue and Gold

Today I ventured into the city to take photos of the lovely Rhiahna. As soon as I saw her I thought her dress was to die for, so lovely. My first shoot also using my new 50mm 1.8, so still practising with that lens...

I'd take her photo again anyday, so lovely.

Ronin Tattooing

Went in for a visit to Roning Tattooing in Cottesloe today to discuss with Tahlee Joy some promotional photoshoots for the new tattoo studio. Went really smoothly, and hoping to start shooting them next week. The studio on the other hand, has been decked out nicely so far- loved the cute chandeliers they have on display. It's definately worth checking out for anyone who's looking for some new ink!

Tahlee Joy- Ronin Tattooing

Tomorrow I'm checking into Ronin Tattoo Studio to discuss some work with them and take a few shots of their store. I might also be taking a couple of shots of Tahlee Joy, their #1 promotional model for their new store in Cottesloe. I thought I'd show you some previous shots of her done earlier this year. She's such a delight to shoot!

Being a little tired and restless today, I decided to take my mind off of things and use junk in my backyard to keep me entertained..





Can't wait for an opportunity to use these chairs for a full shoot.
